Metal Partial Dentures-
Metal Partial Dentures- is cast metal palate most common alloy used is Cobalt Chrome (CoCr). Gold and Titanium is also an option (Ask you Dental Prosthetist for more information). Some of the advantages of the Metal Partial Denture are, it’s generally thinner and smaller fit in the mouth, greater strength and stability, if maintained it can last you for up to 20yrs.
Some of the disadvantages of this option are, most expensive option out of the three materials, reline repairs and future tooth addition may require laser welding (it’s important to discuss design of the metal frame with your Dental Prosthetist).
